Billy Eppler informed her that authorities discovered deceased in his Texas hotel room. At that moment, Carli had just arrived at her parents’ house.

On July 1, 2019, Tyler Skaggs was discovered dead in a Southlake hotel room.

Initially, there was an attempt to keep the details surrounding Tyler’s death confidential.

Later reports suggested that Skaggs’ death was caused by “Ethanol, fentanyl, and Oxycodone intoxication with terminal aspiration of gastric content.”

Finally, medical authorities concluded that he had overdosed on narcotics and alcohol, which led to his untimely death due to asphyxiation from choking on his vomit.

In response, the family retained legal representation to delve into the matter, revealing that the team’s personnel had been supplying drugs to their own players. This prompted a closer examination of the situation.

Carli subsequently filed against the team, citing negligence that contributed to the player’s tragic demise.

Following this incident, players who test positive for opioids join a treatment programs. Carli takes pride in this positive shift.

However, Tyler’s unexpected passing still deeply shocked his fans. Everyone felt extremely sad for Carli, who became a widow within a few months of their marriage.
