Charles Rothenberg Burning his Son Alive
Charles had violent behavior right from the beginning but little did one know he would turn into a heartless monster.
Back in 1983, Charles had promised his son David to take him to a theme park.
Instead of taking him to the park, Charles took his 6-year-old son to a motel in Orange county.
Then he proceeded to drug him with sleeping tablets.
After David was knocked off, he poured kerosene around the bed with the intention of killing his son.
It was a narrow escape as David was rescued alive from the motel. Unfortunately, he suffered from 90% burns on his entire body.
He had numerous skin grafts. It was a painful experience for David as he almost lost his life, and his father was solely responsible for this.
Now, almost five years after starting, David’s story has finally got a voice. ABC TV made a movie called ‘David,’ based on a book by his mother, Marie.
Only then was the truth revealed, and people made sure Charles wouldn’t get away with this.
Besides, it was a horrendous incident, reminding each of us how horrible some people are.
