Sadly, on May 16, 2017, in Florida, as Taelyn’s stepfather, Robert Gene Carter, passed away at 65 due to a heart attack.
Robert’s son, Nick Carter, conveyed the heartbreaking news via a heartfelt tweet on May 17th, expressing his sorrow: “I am heartbroken to share that our father, Robert, passed away last night.”
Nick also requested privacy during this time of mourning through a subsequent tweet.
