Marza started his career as an on-air intern at WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kansas, and later became a General Assignment Reporter and Weekend Anchor.

He was selected for the prestigious IRTS Summer Fellowship Program and interned at Fox News Channel in 2004.

Afterwards, Marza worked as an Anchor/Reporter and Weekend Managing Editor at WIBW TV until April 2006.
