Jenni and Jose were freshmen at Long Beach Polytechnic High School when they first became friends.

Jose lived a troubled life after the divorce as Jenni filed a court case against him for sexual assault against Rosie Rivera and molestation of Chiquis and Jacqueline Rivera.
After being charged, he fled the state, making things worse.
Nobody knew what he was doing while he was hiding.
After their divorce, Jose never remarried.

Jenni Rivera was born on July 2, 1969, in California, United States, to her parents, Rosa Saavedra and Pedro.
From childhood, Jenni was exposed to music as her father owned a record label. After graduating from Long Beach City College, Jenni began working with her father.
Her career started when she made a song for her father as a Father’s Day gift.
Her music career began when she divorced her first husband, Jose Trinidad.
Later, as Jenni’s music career grew, she married Juan Lopez in 1997. Jenni and Juan also had a daughter named Jenicka the same year. However, in 2001, five years later, Jenni and Juan divorced.
